The Super Cities WALK for MS is a fun, exciting and family oriented event. Individuals enjoy an accessible 5 or 10 km walking tour of the Mississauga waterfront, while fighting multiple sclerosis in a healthy and rewarding way. Participants ("WALKers") collect pledges from friends, family members and co-workers and are eligible for prizes based on their fund raising efforts.
The Mississauga Amateur Radio Club provides communications along the route to assist organizers and help in case of injury. See a photo of some our participants.
This year a new Walk for MS was established on the Culham Trail near Streestville. Even though we had a torrential downpour, we provided checkpoint communications along the route.
